Tel Hamis people bid farewell its martyr

Hundreds of Tel Hamis and its villages’ people, the members of the civil institutions, the district’s council, and the fighters in the ranks of YPG participated in the funeral ceremony of the martyr Qewmi al-Abdullah whose nom de guerre is Jessor Tel Hamis. Qewmi was martyred in al-Khatoniya town east of al-Hol district in the result of being infected by a heart attack while he was performing his military duty on May 29.

As the mourners reached Ragheb Cemetery, the ceremonies started with performing a military parade by the fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), and that was accompanied by holding the participants a minute of silence.

Then, speeches were delivered by the commander in SDF Hussein Tel Hamis, the member of Martyrs’ Families Body in al-Jazeera canton Edan al-Afini and the co-chair of the district’s council Saleh Khalaf.

The speeches talked about the sacrifices of the martyrs for the sake of liberating the peoples from injustice and slavery in addition to achieving security and stability for their homeland.

The speeches also expressed condolences to the martyr Jessor and all martyrs’ families, and pledged to continue following the footsteps of the martyrs towards freedom.

The speeches condemned the violations of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries against Afrin people in addition to following the policy of the demographic change against the people of the area.

After that, the martyr Jessor’s corpse was buried amid the mothers’ trills and the slogans that glorify the martyrs.
