Communes' formation completed in al-Nehda neighborhood

Al-Raqqa Civil Council formed the last commune in al-Nehda neighborhood in al-Raqqa for ending the formation of the communes in the neighborhood whose number is 14 with the participation of the city's women.

Al-Raqqa Civil Council held a meeting at one of the squares of al-Nehda neighborhood in the presence of the co-chair presidency of al-Nehda neighborhood’s council and dozens of residents of the neighborhood.

There, the co-chair of al-Nehda Council related to al-Raqqa Civil Council Hassen Khalil talked and said, "The commune is the foundation of building the democratic society and its essence in North Syria. The people will be able to manage themselves and solve their problems through the communes."

Khalil explained the work of commune and its committees, explaining that the co-chair presidency of the commune and the members of the committees must take the responsibility to be able to do their duty.

At the end of the meeting, the residents of the neighborhood expressed their pleasure in forming their own communes, thanking everyone who contributed in forming the communes.
