Serê Kaniyê people bid farewell martyr Jumaa Mohammed

Hundreds of Serê Kaniyê people participated in the funeral of the fighter of YPG Jumaa Mohammed whose nom de guerre is Mazloum Mohammed, and who martyred in the result of being infected by a heart attack on May 27.

The funeral ceremony began with holding a minute of silence, followed by a speech delivered by the administrator in the Martyrs’ Families Council in Serê Kaniyê Idan Ibrahim who first offered condolences to the family of the martyr. Idan Ibrahim said “The Middle East area is witnessing wars and confrontations that are crucial to the peoples of the area. The dictatorial regimes seek to impose their hegemony on the people, and whoever would reject these regimes, they would be exterminated."

YPG's speech was delivered by Azad Walat who spoke mainly about the Resistance of the Age in Afrin, and said “The resistance is continuing in its second stage. We salute the resistance of Afrin and promise to liberate Afrin from the occupation".

Then, the martyr's record was read and delivered to his family.
