Plotting against Afrin continues, people are ready to confront it

On Sunday, the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) organized a meeting for the residents of the village of Om al-Housh in Fafin district about the latest political developments that are ongoing in the Syrian arena, in particular the Turkish occupation of Afrin canton.

Dozens of residents attended the meeting which began with holding a minute of silence, and was followed by a speech delivered by the director of the Democratic Society Movement Hassen Koçer. Hassen Koçer spoke about the latest developments on the international arena and in Syria in particular.

Koçer said that the international conspiracy in Afrin has not ended. There are some policies followed by the Turkish occupation. At first, they could not undermine the will of Afrin people supporting the Resistance of the Age, and now, they want to undermine their will through methods of special war, kidnapping, torturing and pillaging.

Hassen Koçer noted that Russia wants to hand over the people of Afrin to Turkey, and Russia is the one that contributed to give the permission to the Turkish occupation to launch the attack on Afrin for Russia to work to increase its economic interests with Turkey."

It is supposed that a similar meeting would be held on Sunday evening in Tel Qerrah village.
