Turkish occupation practices against women express their morals

Since the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries have occupied Afrin canton and they are practicing the worst forms of violence against their people, especially women and violating their rights, they also repeat the scenario of Daesh against the women of Şengal, were also attacked in Afrin, around 28 women, including pregnant women, were abducted, raped, assaulted, killed, and have enforced to wear black clothes, cover their head, and wear Niqab.

The views of Kongra Star's members have come during a survey conducted by ANHA agency correspondent with them.

"Women are subjected to kidnappings, rape, torture, murder, not to mention the killing of children and pregnant women," said Hamida Dewadja, a member of Kongra Star who denounced the Turkish occupation mercenaries' practices.

"Our dignity is our resistance and our land. Let them be ashamed of themselves and their practices, do not they have mothers, sisters and wives? Our heads with their deeds will not low down and will always be raised," Hamida said.

"We condemn in the strongest terms the mercenaries’ practices against women in Afrin and consider the war that is taking place in Afrin is against women in particular, mercenaries of the Turkish occupation in Afrin commit massacres against women, and try to end everything related to Kurdish women"

"We saw how the occupation mercenaries sold the women in al-Raqqa, and now they are starting to implement that in Afrin," she said. "They are trying to break our will, which we acquired from the ideology of the leader Abdullah Ocalan."

On the women's resistance in Afrin, Amal Hori confirmed that the guerrilla operations of the fighter Avesta Khabour in Afrin and Erin Mirkan in Kobani were in response to the mercenaries who assaulted the women. "So we as Kongra Star women are ready for anything until the liberation of Afrin."

We do not accept the repetition of the events of Şengal and al-Raqqa in Afrin

"We do not accept the recurrence of what happened in Şengal, al-Raqqa and Manbij in Afrin. We will continue to resist and liberate the women of Afrin. We resisted the mercenaries and we broke them in al-Sheikh Maksoud, and we will also break them in Afrin," Asia Muhammad said.

Finally, Jihan Hassan said that the suffering of the women of Afrin is also their suffering, noting that "everyone should know that we will not abandon Afrin and will not let her, the Turkish mercenaries and occupiers do not represent Islam and do not represent the people of Afrin."

"We, as women of al-Sheikh Maksoud, will continue with what we have started, and the acts of the mercenaries against the women of Afrin show their morals," she said.
