This massage came on the tongue of the party's head Ibrahim al-Qaftan and the party’s Secretary-General Havrin Khalaf during a public meeting held in Kobanî city within the framework of the series of meetings held by the party to explain its principles and objectives to the people in the northern areas of Syria.

Al-Qaftan delivered a speech in the meeting and said, "We have reached this stage in Syria after seven years of fighting because the people demanded freedom as a Syrian citizen, not as an Arab, Kurdish, or Circassian or Christian citizen. The citizen wanted to carry this Syrian identity with the richness of their culture, but the Baath party did not accept."

Al-Qaftan added, "The Baath party thought that it was a holy party in which nothing had to be changed. It wanted to prove the movements knowing that we all know that the constants also change.

Al-Qaftan spoke about the hostile forces to the Syrian people and said, "Turkey has never been a strategic ally or a good-neighborliness country. Afrin was the last example. Why Afrin? Because Afrin was the Syrian national incubator and the safe refuge for thousands of Syrians. Why? Because Afrin’s national security was threatened! While IS did not threaten the national security of Turkey over the years of its extension on the Turkish border.

Al-Qaftan stressed that the Syria Future Party is a Syrian party, noting that they will not forget the blood of their people and will work on the rest.

Al-Qaftan spoke about the principles of his party and the ideas that it adopts as an approach, "We, the people of the Syrian north, are crying out to say that we are existed through our other people, not through the exclusion of Homs, Aleppo and Damascus people. We will seek through our intersections with the other parties to find a program to get Syria out of the cycle of killing and terrorism because we all complete each other, and we do not see the Syrian solution by eliminating the other parties.”

The party's Secretary-General Havrin Khalaf participated in explaining the principles and objectives of the Syria Future Party, and said, "The principles and objectives of the Syria Future Party are to achieve the unity of the Syrian people and reach a decentralized Syria."

There were discussions among the attendees and the organizers of the meeting after opening the way to questions. The audience asked whether the Syria Future Party had acted legally regarding the situation in Afrin.

In addition to asking a lot of questions, some of which were as follows, "What projects do you have to open dialogues with the neighboring countries, do you have contacts with other Syrian parties or the Syrian opposition, your speech is flexible, while the situation in Syria does not tolerate flexibility? Do we understand that you are far from arms?"

The head of the party, Ibrahim al-Qaftan, in response to questions of the attendees, said, "The conflict in Syria has developed within several stages to become an international conflict, and the decision was looted from the hands of the Syrians. We see that the solution to return the decision to the Syrians is dialogue. We will not forget Afrin. We have intersections with the other countries. In all our meetings with our allies, we say that Afrin is occupied, we will restore Afrin and we have our speeches and dialogues, this is our ability because the Syrian file came out of the hands of the Syrians."
