War remnants removed from al-Raqqa city

The Reconstruction Committee belnoging to al-Raqqa Civil Coumcil has cleaned 6 out of 15 neighborhoods of al-Raqqa city from the rubble. The committee is now cleaning the seventh neighborhood .

The committee began to remove the rubble from al-Raqqa 's neighborhoods on January 1, and continues to remove it until now, after breaking the walls of the buildings, which cause danger to cars and passers-by and to transfer them to private dumps on the outskirts of the city.

According to Eng. Saddam al-Shehab and the supervisor of the rubble clearance, they cleaned six of the 15 neighborhoods of al-Raqqa city and the Committee is now under the cleaning of the seventh neighborhood it is al-Bado neighborhood .

The committee removes the rubble to designated places outside the city. After cleaning each neighborhood, the water is sprayed on the ground to clean it from dust.

He added that about 217 cubic meters of rubble were removed from the city, which was devastated by the war.

Al-Shehab said that they have 16 tankers, 14 Turks, 4 Bukit (small bulldozer) and 11 water tanks.
