Series of operations against Turkish army left killed, injured

HPG's media center issued a statement revealing the results of the operations carried out by their forces on May 15 in Başûr and Bakur Kurdistan.

The statement stated:

"In the framework of the revolutionary campaign launched on behalf of the Martyrs Agirî and Pîroz on May 15, our forces carried out a series of military operations, as follows:

At 16:00, our forces carried out a military operation against the Turkish occupation forces stationed in Lêlikan Hill in Bradost area in Başûr Kurdistan, and the operation that was carried out by the Women's Freedom Units - Star resulted in killing an element of the enemy army, while the enemy forces shelled the vicinity of the area.

At 18:30, our forces targeted the Turkish occupation forces stationed in Ali Dreij Hill in Bradost area, and the number of killed and wounded of the enemy was not affirmed. The enemy forces shelled the vicinity of the area with mortars.

At 20:00, the fighters of the Women's Freedom Units-Star carried out a military operation against the elements of the Turkish occupation army in Bayraq Hill in Barzan area in ​​Başûr Kurdistan. The operation resulted in killing a member of the enemy army. Moreover, the Turkish occupation forces shelled the vicinity of the area with mortars.

In the framework of the campaign launched on behalf of the Martyr Dalal Amed and the Revolutionary Basta’s Martyrs, at 13:30 on May 15, our fighters carried out a military operation in the Martyr Sedar Hill in ​​Maskana area in Gulmerk, and one element of Turkish army was killed, while the enemy forces shelled the vicinity of the area.
