Al-Shahba's Health Council opens dispensary in Um al-Housh

In addition to the medical services provided by the Kurdish Red Crescent to the people in al-Shahba canton, al-Shahba Health Council is doing its duty to the residents, where it initiated the establishment of a dispensary in Um al-Housh village of Ahras district.

Al-Shahba Health Council has provided all the medical and health services available to assist the people of Afrin and al-Shahba cantons. The Council recently opened a dispensary in Um al-Housh village, to provide medical services to the residents of the area.

The dispensary has a clinic for internal diseases, and daily treated of 16 to 20 patients, and a tooth clinic where the daily flow is about 25 patients, while the clinic has an ambulance room supervised by two nurses receiving emergency cases, in addition to a pharmacy.

The council is seeking to open a clinic for women's diseases in the clinic, but have not yet found a specialist doctor, while the dispensary suffers from a shortage of some medical equipment for its clinics.

The dispensary operates according to a program that starts from 09:00 to 15:00 during this period, the dispensary receives patients from the villages adjacent to Um al-Housh village, the medical and nursing staff provides everything possible, but in some cases the dispensary is unable to treat, they are transferred to nearby hospitals to be treated there.

It is noteworthy that this dispensary, which was opened by the Health Council provides all medical services for parents and medicine free of charge, despite the small possibilities.
