Education Committee in KCK congratulated Kurdish Language Day

KCK issued a written statement in conjunction with the Kurdish Language Day which marks on May 15 of each year.

The statement referred to the policies followed by the occupied regimes against the Kurds and Kurdistan for centuries in order to eliminate the language and culture of the Kurdish people.

The statement pointed out that all these practices that targeted the Kurdish language and culture are contrary to all international laws and norms.

The statement also praised the resistance and sacrifices made by the Kurdistan Freedom Movement and the Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Ocalan in order to preserve the Kurdish language and culture.

The statement added, "The fascism Turkish state and the occupier speaks today about the existence of the Kurds and the Kurdish language, and we know well that this is achieved thanks to the resistance and continuous struggle by the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan, the Kurdish people and the Freedom Movement for 40 years."

The statement stressed on the need to continue the struggle to preserve the Kurdish language stating, "The use of the Kurdish language at every moment and in all spheres of life is an important part of the struggle and revolution."

The Education Committee in KCK congratulated at the end of its statement the first teacher the leader Ocalan, all the martyrs of Kurdistan, the resistant mothers, all workers in the field of education and the people of Kurdistan on the occasion of the Kurdish Language Day.
