Ahras Council organized celebration for Afrin children

Ahras Council organized a festive celebration for the children of Afrin in the village of Tel Qerah in al-Shahba canton. The program included many activities to create an atmosphere of joy away from the war.

In order to get Afrin children out from the atmosphere of the battle and bombardment that was witnessed by the Turkish aggression on the area, Ahras Council organized a festive celebration for the children of Afrin in the presence of hundreds of children and their families.

The member of Ahras Council Shireen Hassen delivered a speech and said, "We are all the children of Afrin and the owners of the olives, and Afrin will triumph by the resistance of its children, and the enthusiasm that you show proofs your connection to your land and olives."

Shireen Hassen stressed that the Council will do everything possible to contribute to restoring the smile and joy of Afrin children who were deprived of their childhood and schools because of the Turkish aggression on their canton.

And then, various pieces of songs and competitions presented, and awards were distributed by the council to children who win the competition.

This was followed by the distribution of some foods to all children.
