Legislative Council approves Unified Workers Law

Democratic Civil Administration of al-Tabqa area has issued Law No (5) of organized work in al-Tabqa after its approval by the legislative council in al-Tabqa.

Due to the urgent need for a law that regulates the work and workers in all government sectors and preserves the rights of their employees, the legal and advisory office in the executive council of al-Tabqa area raised the draft labor law in the area of the Legislative Council after conducting several studies and drafts.

In session No (17), the Legislative Council in the area of al-Tabqa approved Law No. (5) of "Unified Workers Law" regulating the work in the democratic civil administration of al-Tabqa.

Labor Law, after amendments thereto, contained 66 articles explaining the mechanism of work in the institutions and departments in Civil Administration, addressing the rights of workers in the public sectors and their duties, and determining the minimum wage ceiling.

The democratic civil administration in al-Tabqa is still working on improving the reality of life in the area through its studies and the enactment of laws that will protect the citizen first.
