Official from Norht Syria assesses their European tour

The Syriac Union in the European Parliament has invited a delegation from North Syria to inform them of the federal project in terms of principles and objectives and the situation of the people of the region in the shadow of living in the corner of this system.

The visiting delegation included all components of North Syria including (Kurds, Arabs, Syriacs, Yezidis and Syriacs), which is considered the first visit of a delegation from North Syria at the invitation of the European Parliament to introduce the regime they proposed to solve the Syrian crisis.

Hawar news agency (ANHA) interviewed with the Co-chair of Kobani 's council Marwa Darei said "who was part of the delegation ,talked about their European tour.We were invited by the Syriac union in parliment to attend the session that was prepared for her to hear about our democratic project ."

The main topics discussed were "the definition of democracy within federalism, the role of constituents within federalism, the state of security and stability that prevails inNorth Syria , the large proportion of refugees in North Syria 's camps , the level reached by education and the mechanism of teaching languages ​​within federal areas, Women within federalism, in addition to discussing the attacks on this project for the failure and obstruction."

The official explained that their tour lasted for five days, in which they met with many political figures and international parties in this regard. She pointed out that at the end of the session in the European Parliament, a document was prepared in all languages, in which a summary of what was discussed in the parliamentary sessions of the European Union and the Dutch parliament and the Dutch foreign ministry."

Marwa said that this invitation is the first of its kind at the level of the European Parliament to discuss the federal system and listen to their views on it.

She noted that "this call came at this stage in which the whole region is witnessing wars and conflicts of the forces of the world in Syria and at the time the northern part of Syria is security and stability, the subject of the controversy of the European Union to find out why, and the desire to know the truth in which all live Components and spectra living in North Syria without any complaint and suffering within federal areas."

"We can say that this invitation was positive for us because we have done everything we can to define the federal project and our goal," she said, noting that they had not set hopes for European countries to make their democratic project a success. "This project was not built on hopes, Our responsibility is to protect our people and bring them to safety. "

Regarding the violations of the Turkish occupation in Afrin, Marwa said, "Through our discussion, we saw the great silence about the Turkish occupation of Afrin province, despite the submission of files on the violations of the Turkish occupation in Afrin of the crimes of murder, destruction, displacement and rape. European Parliament ".

It is noteworthy that at the invitation of the Syriac Union in the European Union in mid-April, to introduce the federal system and the reality of the pension in the region, a delegation from North Syria headed by  the Co-chair of the Democratic Union Party Shahuz Hassan the Co-chair to Kobani 's council Marwa Darei and The Co-chair of the Executive Body of the Founding Council of North Syria Federation Snaharib b Barzoum, Vice President of the Executive Council of al-Jazeera region Elizabeth Koria, Member of the Governing Body of the Syrian Democratic Council( SDC) Hikmat Habib, the Co-Chairof the Yezidi Union and Member of the Executive Body of Foundations of the North Syria Federation of Muhammad Taya in Aleppo.
