National Conference calls for supporting Rojhilat people demands

Executive Council of Kurdistan National Congress has issued a statement on the sit-in and strike carried out by the people of Rojhilat (eastern Kurdistan) working on the border, in which he appealed to the Kurds to support their demands.

The statement pointed out that the people of Rojhilat Kurdistan have chosen this work themselves, and that the two Iranian and Turkish regimes are seeking to make the smuggling of this work to reduce it.

Kurdistan National Congress said in a statement that a number of border areas in Rojhilat Kurdistan witnessed sit-ins and strikes carried out by the workers on the border "sit-ins and strikes for the 11th day, these strikes came in response to the policies of starvation and unemployment pursued by the authorities of Islamic Republic of Iran."

Executive Council of National Congress of Kurdistan strongly condemned what he called "the brutality of the Islamic Republic of Iran against workers, and announced its support for the demands of the workers and widening of the protests."

He appealed to Kurdistan National Congress, all the Kurds in the world to support the people of Rojhilat Kurdistan, and strengthen the national cohesion.

Kurdistan National Congress concluded its statement by saying that "national unity is our most effective weapon to respond to the occupation."
