The elements of the Turkish occupation and its gangs are still ongoing to arrest young men, women and the elderly in Afrin canton under false pretexts, in particular to evict the people from their homes and to settled mercenaries' families as part of a deliberate plan by the Turkish occupation to change the demographics of the region.

According to a source from Sherawa district, the mercenaries abducted 2 brothers from Kimar village whose name is Ahmed Hassan and Murad Hassan, without cause and brutally beat them.

The mercenaries also kidnapped two citizens from Korzayla village belonging to Sherawa district whose name is Mohammed Alo Omar, 45, and' Abd al-Rahman, 50, to an unknown destination. After stealing all the tools in their house and settled many of mercenaries’ families who are coming from al-Ghouta.

In Bulbul district, the mercenaries arrested Mohammed Bareem from Qaragul village and took him to an unknown destination. The mercenaries kidnapped him from his family and requested a ransom for his release.

A source from Afrin province said kidnappings are still continuing  throughout the canton without cause, and no one could deter them or stand up to them.

Another source noted that the Turkish occupation and mercenaries are tempting the people to sell their property as land and houses of mercenaries and the Turkish occupation in large amounts.

On the other hand, a source reported that the Turkish occupation continues to settle the mercenaries’ families in the center of the Janders area and sent the source pictures from inside Janders proving the process of settling mercenaries’ families.

Since the invasion of Afrin on 18 March, hundreds of mercenaries’ families have been repatriated in Afrin's districts, which were taken out of the countryside of Damascus following an agreement between Turkey, the Russians and the Syrian regime.
