People's Municipality in al-Tabqa continues to regulate markets

The Department of Control seeks to control the prices that have become a source of inconvenience to citizens through the Department of Prices Control that is responsible for setting the prices’ limits and the control of violators.

The Control Department inspect the quality of food products and their suitability for human consumption and control of fast food restaurants and meat and chicken shops through the Department of Health, all through the daily tours carried out by the department and its members spread throughout the central market.

The department aims to prevent monopoly by some traders, control prices, confiscate, and destroy all expired goods and materials for the safety of citizens.

The Co-chair of the People's Municipality  in al-Tabqa city Mohammed Jorjanazi said " the control department, in cooperation with the municipality's technical office, also conducts several rounds of construction sites and reconstruction cases in the city to demolish any violation of the technical plan or violation of the license conditions in the license granted to the citizen."

One of the most important tasks of the Department of Control is also the control of all pharmacies and the price of medicines and the date of production and expiry.
