Kobani people denounce Turkey's attacks on Başûr, called for National Congress

Turkey continues its occupation policies in the region, continuing its occupation projects in (south Kurdistan), penetrating several areas and building military barracks recently in the territory Kurdish of Başûr.

Hawar news agency (ANHA) interviews with Kobani canton's people in Rojava (west Kurdistan) denounced these policies for the Turkish occupation army on North Syria and (south Kurdistan).

Wafa Haj Hassan condemned the attacks by the Turkish occupation army on Başûr Kurdistan and North Syria saying “Turkey targets the Kurdish people and therefore usurped their land whenever they have the opportunity to do so.

Wafa al-Tammadi attributed the Turkish Kurdish territories to the differences and contradictions between the Kurdish parties and continued "The Kurdish parties that claimed to be interested in the Kurdish affairs and defend them showed their end in Afrin canton. When the Turks and their mercenaries entered Afrin canton, we saw who was the friend and who was the traitor who sold his family and land for the dollars provided by the Turkish state."

Citizen Handiya Hassan in her turn denounced the practices of the Turkish occupation in Başûr and Rojava and said "The Turkish state seeks by various means to deprive the Kurdish people of their rights, which was manifested in Afrin by settling foreigners in their homes and building military barracks in the territory of Başûr."

Sadiq Ibrahim, in turn, expressed his indignation at the Turkish occupation's violations of the sovereignty of other lands under international silence and called on the peoples of the region to revolt against the Turkish state and its colonial plans.

The people gathered at the invitation of the Kurdish political parties to unite by saying "No more division amongst political parties, it is high time we stand together to respond to the genocide attacks against the Kurdish people."
