SDC' Development Office meets humanitarian organizations' representatives

The meeting was held at the request of the Development and Humanitarian Affairs Office of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) in Ain Issa district related to Girê Sipî canton.

The co-chair of the Development and Humanitarian Affairs Office Abdul Qader al-Muhaid, the member of the presidential committee of SDC Jihad Omar, and representatives of the organizations’ offices and health committees in the councils of Manbij, al-Tabqa and al-Raqqa, in addition to all organizations dealing with medical and health affairs in the Syrian north attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the problems that the organizations face during the work, and the need for the coordination among the health offices in the area in which each organization works to verify the efficiency of the personalities that are working in the health field.

One of the main problems that the meeting focused on is that the organizations do not coordinate with the health committees in the councils regarding the personalities and the medical competencies that work with them, and the need to review the health committees and coordinate with them in this regard to ensure the efficiency of the doctors and people and to verify the credibility of the certificate that they hold.

The participants also discussed the issue of various financial remunerations granted by the organizations to their workers in the medical field, and the different wages from one organization to another.

The participants agreed to strengthen the coordination between organizations and health offices regarding the selection of doctors and specialists to do not get into troubles during their work so that each person works according to the certificate they hold.

The Development and Humanitarian Affairs Office is supposed to issue new circulars and resolutions to be worked out in the coming period regarding what have been agreed on during the meeting.
