North Syria's youths demonstrated in Manbij against Turkish occupation

Dozens of young men and women gathered in Manbij by al-Jazeera Square to join the youths of al-Jazeera and Euphrates regions, as well as the youths of al-Raqqa, al-Tabqa and Deir ez-Zor.

The demonstration was launched from al-Jazeera Square in Manbij towards the public square in the city’s center. The demonstrators held banners with "Together, the Youths of North Syria stand against the Turkish threats." "Manbij opposes the Turkish occupation in Syria.” “Erdogan is a war criminal and the murderer of Afrin children” written on.

After the arrival of the demonstration to the public square in city’s center, everyone held a minute of silence, and then, Farouq al-Mashi spoke on behalf of the Democratic Civil Administration in Manbij city and its countryside. Farouq al-Mashi saluted the youths of North Syria who called for revolting against the Turkish occupation of North Syria, stressing that the peoples of North Syria reject all forms of occupation of the Syrian north and that they will stand together against the Turkish occupation and continue to support Afrin and its resistance until liberation.

Then, the administrator of the Young Women Union in North Syria Albin Ahmed delivered a speech condemning the attacks of the Turkish occupation on the areas of North Syria, and saluted the resistance of Afrin's people against the occupation.

The demonstration ended with chanting the slogans echoing the resistance of Afrin and rejecting the Turkish occupation of North Syria.

The Turkish occupation continues its occupying policy against the sovereignty of the Syrian north amid international and regional silence, and it commits massacres against the Syrian people in general and Afrin’s in particular.
