Nahdet Halif movie presented for 1st time in Qamişlo

The movie was presented at Mohammed Sheikho Center for Culture and Art in Qamişlo city, and hundreds of Qamişlo people, intellectuals and journalists in addition to the fighters of the People and Women Protection Units (YPG, YPJ), the co-chair of Qamişlo Canton's Council Perwîn Mohammed, the Democratic Autonomous Administration's adviser Mezgîn Ahmed, the co-chair of Training and Education Body Samîra Haj Ali, and the co-chair of Antiquities and Tourism Body in al-Jazeera region Hussein Ali.

The subject of the film included shedding the light on the landmarks and history of Tel Halif archaeological area which is considered one of the most important archaeological sites in the Middle East and the world.

The movie shows the cultural flourishing of that age of history before 8,000 years ago which includes the cultural, industrial and artistic renaissance of Tel Halif’s civilization.

Hussein Ali said in a speech delivered on behalf of the Tourism and Antiquities Body, "We, as the Tourism and Antiquities Body, have protected the archaeological sites after some sites were subjected to indiscriminate shelling and destruction as these antiquities indicate the history of the existence of Kurds and other components of the area who lived on this land."

After the end of the speeches, the movie Nahdet Halif was shown.

In conclusion, Tourism and Antiquities Body in al-Jazeera region honored the journalist Alan Roj, and presented bouquets of roses to the contributors to preparing this movie.
