People's Parliament opened in Dêrik

The New World Summit of Dutch Engineering and Arts opened the conferences hall (People's Parliament) in Dêrik which was launched in 2016 by the people's municipality, and it was supported by the Dutch New World Summit, during a public ceremony.

As the Dutch New World Organization initiated the establishment of the conferences hall in Dêrik city in coordination with the people's municipality and the State Department in al-Jazeera canton during the New World Summit Conference which was held for the first time in Rojava under the slogan "Democracy Without a State" sponsored by the State Department in al-Jazeera canton and the Dutch New World Organization. The academics, politicians, artists, journalists, and many intellectuals from the countries of America, Netherlands, Sweden, Scotland, Belgium, and some other countries and representatives of the Amazigh attended the conference.

The two co-chairs of the people's municipality in Dêrik thanked the New World Summit for this unique step, and stressed that they would work hard to develop the country.

The conference hall is located in the Martyr Judy neighborhood. It is composed of a circular amphitheater and a dome designed by Dutch engineers. It has a large garden. The hall has been named by Parliament of the People, and it has been decorated with flags and symbols that represent the peoples of North Syria.
