UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said Tuesday from Geneva at a pledging conference for Yemen UAE and Saudi Arabia, which are involved in the conflict to restore the internationally recognized Yemeni government to power, "generously donated"  930 million dollars to the humanitarian response plan.
Kuwait also donated  250 million Dollar to the humanitarian response plan in Yemen, while the European Union provided 107 million dollars.
Today, the situation is deteriorating due to the deterioration of the security situation and the political and military conflict in the country between the Iranian-backed Ansar Allah al-Houthi group and t Abd Rabbo Mansur Hadi group, backed by the Saudi-led Arab coalition.
The conflict in the country since 2011 has destroyed infrastructure, lost tens of thousands of lives, displaced thousands and continued human suffering in this poor Arab country.
