Groundbreaking for Kobani University

The conference was held at the site where the university will be opened at Sofia hamlet, south of Kobani city, 10 kilometers away.
The press conference was attended by dozens of Kobani residents and representatives of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in Kobani, including the co-chair of the Executive Council of Kobani canton Anwar Muslim and Beirvan Hassan.
At the beginning, the audience stopped for a minute of silence. Then the co-chair of the Executive Council of Kobani canton Anwar Muslim, the co-chair of Kobani University Kamal Bisrawi, a member of Hêvî Dylan Muslim and Juman Kanaani were invited too.

 The opening speech was given by Anwar Muslim, who said "Today we are passing through a historical stage because today we came to groundbreaking for Kobani University in the Euphrates region."

 In his turn, the administrator director of Hêvî Juman Kanani thanked Autonomous Administration and all those who cooperated in this work and also thanked all the contributors who provided the money and assistance from the four parts of Kurdistan.
And then held a press conference, which raised several questions, including how many years will take the inauguration of the building of the university altogether? How many students will be accommodated? Who are the contributors to the launch? Who will receive the education and who will study there? And other questions.
The questions were answered by the conference leaders. They pointed out that the cost of reconstruction would reach 70 million dollars and that they had set two years as a time frame for completion. The university would absorb 35,000 university students, and the shareholders were mostly from four parts of Kurdistan. Euphrates region or Kobani and even accept students from outside Syria, and give priority to the scientific competencies to give lectures in order "Doctor, Master ,Certificate of secondary education .
