Hikmat Habib: Future Syria Party" is all Syrians’

GIRÊ SIPÎ- Hawar news agency (ANHA) held an interview with a member of the presidential body of Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) Hilkmat Habib on the reason and importance of forming "Future Syria Party" Habib pointed out that formation of this party comes in absence of Syrian party collector for all Syrians, an extension of some of the proposals of other parties that asserted the need for a national party that is far from nationalistic and ethnic affiliations and loyalties and is united for all sects of the Syrian people, stressing that this party’s importance stems from its unification of all Syrians. A council was established and elected comprised of 81 members from all regions and governorates of Syria.

Habib noted that in view of all these conditions that the Syrians live under occupation of their land and subjected to division and the displacement of their people was necessary to establish this party to lay ranks and unite the people.

Habib added: "Today we can expand the political struggle through the establishment of this party so as to be a key party in the upcoming negotiations to find a compromise solution that satisfies all the Syrian parties"

He stressed that the Syrian crisis can only be resolved by the will of the Syrian people, because the people are looking to achieve security and stability, the return of the displaced and the return of the destroyed infrastructure and through this party they can submit their demands in international forums.

At the end of his speech, Habib said that the aim of this party is to create a decentralized, pluralistic and democratic Syria with equal rights and duties among all the components of the Syrian people.
