GIRE SIPI – Al- Raqqa Civil Council transferred all its works and offices to al-Raqqa city after it was managed at Ain Issa district , to accelerate its work.
Al-Raqqa Civil Council was established on 18 April last year to conduct its work in al-Raqqa city and its countryside through 14 committees "Relations, Services, Education, Finance, Peace, Women, Furnaces and Mills, Organizations, Health, Youth and Sports, Reconstruction, economic, media and councils. "
At the beginning of this year, the Council has created three other committees: Energy, Communications, Defense, Antiquities and Tourism.
Since its establishment al-Raqqa Civil Council has been operating in Ain Issa district belonging to Giresipi (Tel-Abyed ) in the Euphrates region.
With the return of the inhabitants of the city to their homes, the return of the wheel of life back to the corridors of the city and cleaned of mines and the removal of the risk of IS gangs of the region, the city council transferred all its offices and work to al-Raqqa city to start its work there.
In this context, the member of al-Raqqa Civil Council Abdel Salam Hamsourk, that the transfer of their offices to al-Raqqa facilitates the mechanism of their work and supervision.
