Who is head of Future Syria Party, Ibrahim al-Qaftan?

 NEWS DESK -Ibrahim al-Qaftan Arab origin from Manbij city, 49 years old. He was born in March 18, 1967, in the western neighborhood of Tikkiyeh in Manbij, his father Mohammed al-Qaftan and his mother is Orj al-Ali.
He studied and completed the preparatory course in 1984 at the school of martyr Hassan al-Daman. He finished secondary school at the secondary school of Manbij in 1987. He then continued his university studies in Beirut, where he studied In the Faculty of Architecture at Beirut Arab University to graduate from it in 1995 after he received the degree of Bachelor of Architecture.
After finishing his education at the university and returning home to Syria, he joined the Engineers Syndicate in Aleppo and received a training course to inaugurate his private engineering office (Al Omran Engineering Studies Office) where he completed the course.
In 2008, Ibrahim al-Qaftan joined the Faculty of Sharia at al-Imam al-Ouzai University (Beirut) in its branch in the Syrian capital of Damascus, and graduated from it with a certificate.
Since he was working in the field of architecture and related works, he expressed his opinion to the governor of Aleppo before the revolution of the Local Administration Law No. 1, issued in 2003 on the construction of "communism", on the changes that can be made to the law to be more appropriate with reality pension.
In a continuation of his work aimed at regulating the laws and regulations of his mother country Syria, al-Qaftan addressed in 2010 the head of the Syrian regime, Bashar al-Assad, on the corruption prevalent in Syria and the mechanisms that could result from its spread, especially in Manbij, in an attempt to reform after the spring of peoples in the region.
After the popular movement experienced by several regions of Syria, Ibrahim Al-Qaftan tried to communicate with Syrian youths in an attempt to organize them. On April 22, 2011, al-Qaftan was one of the participants in the demonstrations that took place in Manbij under the slogan "Good Friday", denouncing corruption, The mechanism of action in Syria and the selection of professionals in the official circles in Manbij to be a technocratic government.
al-Qaftan was arrested for several days by the Syrian regime. The situation continued until the city of Manbij was liberated from the regime.

 Al-Qaftan was then head of the Revolutionary Council in Manbij for 15 days. The usual corruption in the previous administration was reflected in the revolutionary movement in Syria, Which he occupied, to become a member of the Revolutionary Council's service office for several months.
After mercenaries seized Manbij, mercenaries arrested Ibrahim al-Qaftan and beat him. They broke his legs with gunshots fired by a mercenary. He remained in the mercenary prison in al-Bab for nearly a month and a half in early 2014.
After the mercenaries released him, al-Qaftan left Syria on 1 November 2014 and served as a member of the Syrian National Democratic Alliance in the Foreign Relations Committee until he returned to Syria again on the 15th of August 2016, after the liberation of Manbij in three days. His work in public relations in the civil council of Manbij and its countryside, and then became head of the office of the National Democratic Alliance of Syria in Manbij.
On February 20, he was elected by the components of Manbij to become co-chai of the Executive Council of- the Democratic Civil Administration of Manbij and its countryside along with Zeinab Qanbar.
Yesterday, during the constitutive conference of the Future Syria Party, which was held in al-Raqqa in the presence of representatives of the Syrian political and social organizations, Ibrahim al-Qaftan was elected as the party's head.
