YPG fighters on front lines: Victory will be our ally

Fighters of the People’s Protection Units (YPG) stationed on the front lines said they draw their strength from their people and that victory will be their ally.

Following the redeployment of the Syrian Democratic Forces, the People’s Protection Units (YPG), and the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) along the borders of the Kurdish regions in Rojava, fighters continue to defend their land in various combat trenches with high morale and strong motivation.

In this context, a number of YPG fighters on the front lines in the countryside of Hasakah and Qamishlo in the Jazira Canton delivered messages of resistance through video recordings, affirming that they derive their strength from the people, the youth, and the justice of their cause.

The fighters said in their message:

“The enemy should not think it can set foot on our land so easily. We are here, and long live the resistance of Kurdistan. Our morale is at its highest, and we draw it from our people and from the stance of our youth. We will never abandon our land, and victory will most certainly be our ally.”
