A young man was injured with varying degrees of wounds due to gunfire from thieves in the western countryside of Daraa, at a time when the area is witnessing a notable increase in theft and armed robbery incidents.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that a young man was injured after being shot directly by a group of thieves inside a farm in the "Tal al-Samn" area, north of the city of Tafas, during the night hours. He was transferred to the hospital for treatment.

At the same time, an armed clash broke out near the dam of the city of Tafas, following an attempt by another group to steal solar panels from one of the farms in the area, reflecting the increasing pace of criminal activity in the region.

The city of Tafas and its countryside have recently witnessed a noticeable increase in thefts and armed robberies, which has caused a state of discontent among the residents. This has led to repeated calls for the need to enhance security measures and intensify nite patrols, especially in agricultural areas and side streets that have become an increasing threat to the lives and properties of civilians.
