Y.J.Ê.R: Leader Abdullah Ocalan’s Message consolidates our struggle

In his message to the Autonomous Administration in Şengal and the Yazidi people, leader Abdullah Ocalan stressed that the injustices committed against them must never be repeated. He expressed that the pain endured by the Yazidi community deeply affected him, despite not being Yazidi himself, and emphasized his commitment to defending their existence, calling upon them to achieve genuine unity.

In its statement, the Yazidi Women’s Union declared: “The Leader has conveyed an important message to us as the Yazidi community. This message constitutes a powerful incentive for us as Yazidi women to raise the level of our struggle and to move forward toward democracy and peace.”

The Union recalled that throughout their long history, the Yazidi community has been subjected to massacres and firmans aimed at erasing their existence and culture, with Yazidi women in particular targeted by “terrorists and criminals” seeking to uproot the very foundations of Yazidi society.

The statement further underscored that leader Abdullah Ocalan has opened the path of freedom and democracy for them, and that they will strive to fulfill his vision of a dignified, participatory life founded on the principles of the democratic nation.
