World Youth Day events in Qamishlo conclude with artistic performances

Qamishlo witnessed the closing-day events for World Youth Day on Friday, organized by the Directorate of Culture in Hasakah Governorate with support from UNICEF. The program featured a musical performance by an orchestra, along with a folcloric dance performance by the Mohammed Sheikho Group Center for Culture and Art, drawing an enthusiastic response from the audience.

The events held over the past few days included seminars and discussions on the role of young people in building the future and the importance of self-development by moving away from conventional thinking.

The Qamishlo events concluded with an emphasis on the importance of young people’s role in society and encouraging them to make use of their energy and talents.

The events, organized by the Directorate of Culture in Hasakah Governorate with support from UNICEF, included a series of seminars, discussions, and artistic and musical performances focusing on the importance of empowering young people and moving away from conventional ways of thinking, in a way that contributes to strengthening their role in shaping the future.

On Wednesday, August 12, the Directorate of Culture in Hasakah Governorate, in cooperation with UNICEF, organized three days of World Youth Day events in Qamishlo and Hasakah. The program included workshops highlighting the role of young people in society and promoting their participation in cultural and social life, while also encouraging them to develop their skills and make use of their energy and talents.
