Women's Day in Syria ends with focus on fighting marginalization

 Today, massive popular events were launched in various cities and towns in NE Syria and the city of Aleppo, under the slogan "Women, Life, Freedom Towards a Democratic Syria." Thousands of women from various components, including Kurds, Arabs, Syriacs, and Armenians, participated, wearing their traditional outfits.

 The activities included a reading of a message from leader Abdullah Ocalan directed to women on their international day, as well as messages and speeches from various women's, political, and community organizations in the region. These emphasized that joint women's struggle is the guarantee for addressing marginalization and exclusion. Additionally, there were numerous artistic performances.

 The events concluded recently in the cities of Qamishli, Hasaka, Aleppo, and Kobani with the participating groups presenting musical, dance, and theatrical performances.
