Women: We to never give up our gains

Women affirmed that they would continue to support the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) until the end, and that they would continue their struggle within the Rojava Revolution until their rights are achieved. They also stressed that women in other Syrian cities should not accept defeat or surrender.

The participants in a march held in Qamishlo in support of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) and the gains of the Rojava Revolution spoke to ANHA agency.

Siham Ramadan, a mother in Rojava and a mother of martyrs, affirmed that she is connected to the YPJ in spirit and blood. She said they would continue to support the units until the end, while continuing their struggle within the Rojava Revolution.

Aisha Kedro stated, "We came to say that we stand with the YPJ, so that our rights are not lost, and so that the YPJ remains ours. We become stronger with the strength of women within the revolution."

Botan Abdel Ghafour also indicated that they came out to defend their revolution and to guarantee their rights as women within the new Syrian constitution. She said, "Women in other Syrian cities must not accept defeat, and we, Kurdish women, will never accept defeat. We will not give up our gains."
