Women: AA's model is the best solution for achieving justice for women

Syrian social and political activists spoke about the crimes and violations against women in the Syrian areas occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries, whether in Idlib and Azaz or in Afrin,Tabqa, Tal AByed.

In this regard, the writer, novelist, and social researcher Thanaa Sadiq, at the beginning of her talk, called on every woman in any part of the world not to give up her rights, principles, and values, and to be aware of presenting a cultured generation to society capable of achieving justice and gender equality, and for both parties to support each other's positions in practical and theoretical life.

Regarding the situation of women in the areas occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries from Syria, Thanaa emphasized the need for "us to support and unite until they are liberated from the violations practiced against them." She added, "In her return, they must reject those violations through their uprising to reclaim their usurped rights."

Regarding how to support and assist them in their struggle against the occupation, the social researcher suggested organizing events, holding meetings and gatherings, and coming up with recommendations that support women's struggle in the occupied territories. She said, "Women should not underestimate their strength and ability to do this, and they should see themselves as a source for achieving independence and rising against the occupation and against anyone who tries to take away their will, which will bring freedom and a democratic life to them and their people."

Public opinion

 While activist Zahra Habib from the Syrian city of Latakia saw the tragedy and suffering of women in light of the crisis that has been sweeping the country for more than 12 years, she believes it is a public issue that serious steps must be taken to address and resolve.

The activist emphasized the importance of women uniting and rising against the oppression imposed on them, saying: "External interventions have contributed to deepening the crisis, which necessitates our solidarity and cohesion to prevent the repetition of what has been imposed on us."

She emphasized the necessity of voicing the concerns of abused women during women's conferences and gatherings held within the framework of resolving the Syrian crisis and the participation of women in it. Expressing: "We stand with them and do not accept what is being done to them." We must unite first and foremost; because every woman represents an entire nation and community. Let's be worthy of this work and manage it correctly, so we must raise our awareness and thinking by nourishing our minds and spreading awareness, to know who we are defending and why we are defending, especially in our cause. We strongly oppose all violations committed against women.

While Diaa Obeid, a representative of the Lebanese Forces Party, shed light on the suffering of women amid the Syrian crisis, she said: "Syrian women have suffered for 13 years since the onset of the crisis, and they continue to suffer in the areas occupied by the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries in northwestern Syria."

'autonomous administration preserves women's rights'

Diaa called on all Syrian women to unify their discourse to make their voices heard by public opinion so that it can support them, especially the women who are suffering due to the occupation.

She called for the implementation of the autonomous administration experience in all Syrian cities, saying: "Through the co-presidency system, women in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria have ensured their participation in decision-making by more than 50 percent. This system should be transferred and applied in all Syrian regions."

Regarding her choice of the autonomous administration experience as an example for safeguarding women's rights, Diaa Obeid affirmed: "Through the autonomous administration system, we can reclaim our rights and take our effective and pivotal role in building the future of Syria."

She emphasized the necessity of unifying efforts to ensure the unity of Syria, supporting women who suffer from the claws of occupation, and liberating them and the occupied Syrian territories.
