Widespread condemnation of massacres committed in 3 quarters of Aleppo

In response to the massacres perpetrated by the Turkish-backed mercenaries of the Interim Government against the residents of the Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafiyeh, and Bani Zeid neighborhoods, the Education Body in Tirbê Spiyê city, the School Administration in Jel Agha city of Jazira canton, students of Kobane schools, and the Women's Council of the Democratic Union Party in Kobane issued separate statements.

The Tirbê Spiyê Education Body's statement was read at the Martyr Jahida Ronk, Martyr Warshin, and Martyr Nazir Schools, with the attendance of dozens of students and teachers from all three schools.

The Jel Agha School Administration's statement was read by student Heyam al-Kurdi at the Derona Aghi School in the northern countryside of Jel Agha city, with the presence of elementary, middle, and high school students and teachers.

While the Kobane city students' statement was read at the Martyr Seydo School by students Mohamed Mohamed and Zuleikhan Mohamed, with the participation of schools' students.

The statement of the Women's Council of the Democratic Union Party was read on the main street of Kobane city by the council member Badia Meho, with the participation of the council members and representatives of women's institutions in the Euphrates region.

The statements condemned the crimes and massacres committed in Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafiyeh, and Bani Zeid, amid a shameful global silence.

They indicated "the summary executions and heinous crimes, including throwing women from rooftops in a desperate attempt to undermine their spirit, targeting children, and the deliberate shelling and killing that deprives our children of their right to life and safety."

The statements praised the historic resistance demonstrated by the Internal Security Forces and the resistant fighters of Ashrafiyeh and Sheikh Maqsoud in defending the residents with a high sense of responsibility and sacrifice.

They called for an independent and transparent international investigation to hold those responsible for these crimes accountable, provide urgent protection for children and guarantee their safety and access to schools in their current locations, ensure medical and psychological support for the affected children and their families, and respect national diversity and the rights of all communities in accordance with international laws and conventions.

The statements held the international powers responsible for these massacres, and called on human rights and humanitarian organizations to fulfill their moral and legal obligations to ensure accountability and achieve justice for the victims in the two neighborhoods. They emphasized that the world's silence was complicity in the massacres.

The statements concluded with slogans praising the resistance of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh, and affirming the glory and immorality to the martyrs of resistance.
