"We aspire to build new Syria with all its components"

 The components of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria are dedicated to building a new, inclusive Syria that preserves the rights, cultures, and languages of all its people. This aspiration was echoed by residents of Çil Axa in Jazira Canton.

 Shirwan Safo, a resident of Çil Axa commended the governance model in North and East Syria, stating: “For thirteen years, we have thrived under Autonomous Administration.” Safo affirmed that the democratic nation project has strengthened relationships among the region’s diverse communities in various domains. He described this model as a comprehensive framework grounded in the fraternity of people and shared coexistence, enabling each group to preserve its culture and language.

 Soha Suleiman, another local, reiterated the collective aspiration of Syrians—Arabs, Kurds, Syriacs, Armenians, Alawites, and Druze—to build a post-Ba’ath Syria that honors its diverse makeup and preserves the integrity of its mosaic identity.

 Fatima Suleiman agreed, emphasizing that the model is the most viable and effective means to construct a democratic and decentralized Syria that guarantees the rights of all components.

 She also highlighted the deeply rooted relationships among the region’s communities, which have coexisted for thousands of years.

She noted that the model has further solidified these bonds and fostered trust among components, countering efforts by hostile actors to exploit sectarian and ethnic divisions to undermine security and stability.
