The Deir ez-Zor Military Council announced on Friday, December 6, that as a result of the developments taking place in our homeland, Syria, they pose a threat to the security of our people and our region in Deir ez-Zor. In particular, mercenary groups affiliated with the Turkish occupation and ISIS mercenaries are reactive in the Deir ez-Zor desert. Accordingly, in order to protect our people, the fighters of the Deir ez-Zor Military Council deployed in the city and west of the Euphrates. Our goal in this progress is to protect our security and the security of our people, so we will perform this historic mission to the fullest.

We thank all our people who welcomed us and helped us with all their potential. "All our people must rally around our fighters to protect our land side by side against all attacks."

After the announcement, the Deir ez-Zor Military Council took control of the city of Deir ez-Zor and imposed security throughout the city.
