U.S. President threatens to take action if Hamas refuses to disarm

U.S. President Donald Trump has once again threatened Hamas, stating that the United States would forcibly disarm the group if it does not do so voluntarily. He emphasized that any necessary measures would be taken to achieve this goal.

In an interview with Fox News, Trump said, “If they do not do what is expected of them, we will do it ourselves,” adding, “They are very violent… we will see how things unfold,” referring to the movement.

Trump also noted that there is no strict timeline for disarming Hamas and confirmed that no U.S. troops would be deployed in Gaza, stating, “There is no need for that.”

These remarks come amid renewed Israeli military escalation in Gaza, involving air and ground strikes across several areas of the territory. According to local medical sources, the latest wave of violence has resulted in 15 deaths.

Last week, Trump similarly threatened to disarm Hamas “by force,” following executions carried out by the group against individuals it accused of collaborating with the Israeli military.
