Unity of components thwarted plot of Damascus forces in Deir ez-Zor
Citizens from Deir ez-Zor Canton praised the unified position during the attacks of the Damascus government forces and the so-called "National Defense" on the Canton, and stressed that this position was the main reason for thwarting any future plot.
For 6 consecutive days, starting from Wednesday, August 7, Deir ez-Zor Canton witnessed attacks by the Damascus government forces and the so-called "National Defense", targeting cities, towns and villages in the eastern countryside on the banks of the Euphrates River, which led to the martyrdom of 15 civilians and the injury of 24 others, according to ANHA Agency.
Citizen Saleh Al-Rashid, a resident of Deir ez-Zor, said: "The events that our regions are witnessing are attempts to destabilize the security and stability of the region, as the regional countries and the Syrian regime are upset with the state of stability that we are living in."
He praised the solidarity of the components in confronting the attacks, stressing that the people of Deir ez-Zor, with their SDF forces, and all the components in general, sent a message to every aggressor who tries to tamper with the security and stability of the Canton.
The close solidarity of the components in the North and East Syria region, citing what happened recently in Deir ez-Zor, restored the correctness of the model chosen by the people of the region, represented by the Autonomous Administration derived from the Democratic Nation Project.
"Since the defeat of ISIS mercenaries from the regions of North and East Syria, the Democratic Nation Project has strengthened solidarity between the components, and this close connection unites all the components of the region and its religions."
For her part, citizen Samira Al-Jassem from Deir ez-Zor ruled out the ability of any forces to push the people of the region to fight, or undermine its societal forces.
She stressed her rejection of the plans aimed at civil strife and undermining societal peace.
"We are all with our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces, and we are defending our land and the gains we have achieved under the project of the Democratic Nation.
