Local sources in Swedia revealed that a family in the city has confirmed the presence of two of their children in Syrian Interim Government prisons. The family has had no information about their children since the military offensive last July.

According to the information received, the two brothers, Yanal Bashar al-Haddad (15 years old) and Qais Bashar al-Haddad (13 years old), are being held in Adra Prison in Damascus, where they were arrested during the attack on Swedia last July.

Sources close to the family confirm that they received only this information, without any details about the fate or health of the two boys. They are demanding their release, given that they are still children, and pointing out that their imprisonment at this age constitutes a violation of children's rights.

Yesterday, dozens of residents of Swedia gathered in Dignity Square, demanding information about the fate of their missing and forcibly disappeared sons. Dozens of young men from the city and surrounding villages have been missing or arrested at various times, including during the military incursion into the city.
