Despite the “Call for Peace and a Democratic Society” issued by leader Abdullah Ocalan on February 27, the Turkish state has yet to take any serious action. On the contrary, it continues to impose isolation on the leader while also carrying out attacks on the Medya Defense Zones.

In this context, Jihan Bozan from the city of Kobani stated that the Turkish state did not take any steps even after the leader's call for peace on February 27.

She mentioned that they have trained and organized themselves according to the leader’s ideas, and she stressed the ongoing struggle for his physical freedom and the achievement of peace.

Fatima Issa also demanded the physical freedom of the leader, saying: “Peace cannot be achieved without the physical freedom of the leader.

Mohammed Ali emphasized the need for the Turkish occupying state to halt its attacks, grant the leader physical freedom.

He stated, “The time for peace has come, and peace cannot be achieved without his physical freedom.”

Ali concluded by saying: “The Turkish state has always sought to eliminate the Kurdish people, which is why it does not take any steps toward peace.”
