Turkish shelling on Sulaymaniyah countryside

Turkish occupation army drones shelled the countryside of Sulaymaniyah in Southern Kurdistan, leaving destruction in the targeted village and its surroundings.

Roj News Agency reported from local sources, that the Turkish drones shelled the village of Kalali, located within the borders of the Sharbajir area in Sulaymaniyah by two successive attacks.

According to the source, the shelling resulted in destruction in the village and its surroundings, no more information was reported.

Since the beginning of last July, the Turkish occupation army, with the participation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party has escalated its attacks on various areas of Southern Kurdistan, specifically in Dohuk Governorate, which led to a large displacement and massive destruction of citizens' property, amid the silence of the Iraqi authorities.

A security agreement was concluded between the Iraqi authorities and Turkey, which popular circles saw as legitimizing Turkey's occupation of Iraqi territories, the latest of which was described by the Secretary-General of the Al-Waad Al-Sadiq Corps, Muhammad Al-Tamimi, in a statement issued yesterday, as surrender and relinquishing national sovereignty.
