Turkish occupation mercenaries abducted a young man from the village of Ali Bako in the occupied countryside of Afrin, while he was on his way to the city of Aleppo via the Deir Hafer road.

According to the Syrian Observatory, "The abducted individual had been living in Iraq and had returned to his hometown for a visit, before being kidnapped and taken to an unknown destination, with no information available so far about the reasons behind the abduction or the party holding him."

This incident is part of a series of violations targeting Kurdish families who have recently returned to their villages in the Afrin countryside. Turkish occupation mercenaries are carrying out raids and arrests under the pretext of "settling the situation," which has increasingly become a cover for systematic violations specifically targeting returning Kurds.
