The Agency quoted sources as saying that these operations are taking place in an organized and systematic manner, leading to the destruction of large areas of forests that are considered an important part of the natural environment and contribute to the exacerbation of the problem of desertification and climate change, in addition to negatively affect on the lives of local residents.
