Turkish authorities forcibly deport new batch to Syria

 According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the Turkish occupation authorities deported more than 300 Syrian citizens, male and female, during the past 48 hours, through the Turkish border gates with Syria.

Since the beginning of the Syrian crisis, Turkey has been exploiting refugees, as it intends to exploit the refugees in the Turkish-held areas in Syria by settling them in the homes and property of residents of the region who were displaced from it due to the occupation, according to what the data indicate.

According to the Observatory, these refugees were arrested a few days ago from their workplaces and from the streets in the Turkish states, without considering the identification papers that enable them to work and move in Turkey. They were handed over to the detention centers located on the border, and sent directly to Syria through the Bab crossings.

The Syrian Observatory described the detention centers and border stations as “human slaughterhouses for Syrians searching for a safe haven,” where detainees are subjected to various types of torture.

Speaking to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, M.Q., 24 years old, said that he was subjected to physical and psychological torture at the hands of Turkish border guard forces. He was arrested while trying to cross the border from the village of Al-Talul in the Salqin countryside, and he was transferred with others to the border station and then to Syrian territory.”

At the beginning of the year 2024, the Syrian Observatory monitored many cases of torture and beatings, perhaps the most prominent of which was the torture of a child and throwing him into a cold water ditch in the rain for an entire night.
