Turkish authorities arrest Kurdish refugee in Izmir

Turkish authorities' security forces in Izmir arrested a Kurdish refugee from the village of "Ghazawiya" in the occupied city of Afrin, without knowing the charges against him.

From a house he lives in in Izmir without stating the reasons, Turkish authorities' security forces arrested Kurdish refugee Hassan Mahmoud Nasser, 46 years old, who is from the people of the occupied Afrin.

 Nasser has been living in Izmir for years. He is married and has four children. Before seeking asylum, he worked as an employee at the Cotton Foundation in Aleppo.

 The Turkish authorities' security forces are repeatedly launching arbitrary arrest campaigns against Kurdish refugees, according to Kurdish refugee activists in the country stated.
