Turkey’s Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz announced the establishment of a new body after the framework law was published in the Turkish Official Gazette.

The Turkish Parliament passed the framework law on August 10, and it was published in the Turkish Official Gazette on Tuesday after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed it at 00:00.

The framework law, titled “Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration,” consists of 12 articles and is related to the Peace and Democratic Society Call launched by Leader Abdullah Öcalan on February 27, 2025.

In this context, Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz announced in a post that a body had been established to implement the law.

Following the announcement of the body’s formation, the relevant institutions and ministries began their work, according to Yılmaz.

Yılmaz also announced that the body’s first meeting is scheduled to be held on August 24. The meeting will discuss the implementation of the framework law and the formation of the necessary committees.
