Turkey continues killing, kidnapping, and demographic change in occupied Afrin

The Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries killed 4 people and kidnapped more than 50, including women and children, in the occupied Afrin Canton, where demographic change continues.

Today, the Afrin Human Rights Organization - Syria published the toll of the crimes of Turkey and its mercenaries in the occupied Afrin Canton during last January.

According to the organization, Turkey and its mercenaries killed 4 people, including 2 women. The Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries also kidnapped 53 people, including 15 women, some of whom were minors, in addition to 2 children.

In the context of the ongoing demographic change processes in the occupied Afrin Canton, the Turkish occupation state established a settlement in the village of Qatma in the Shra district under the supervision of the Orange organization, in addition to another settlement established by the “Deniz Fanary” organization on the martyrs’ shrine in the village of Qazqli in the Janders district.

The Turkish occupation state destroyed the shrine shortly after the occupation of Afrin on March 18, 2018.
