The Al-Awn clan, a branch of the Bani Saeed tribe in the region, erected a tent today in the village of Ja'da in Kobani. The meeting brought together tribes from across Aleppo Governorate and the Kobani region, including Arab, Kurdish, and Turkmen tribes, along with a delegation from the Syrian Interim Government in Aleppo Governorate. The goal was to strengthen relations to build a new, unified Syria.

Under the tent, several speeches were delivered on behalf of the tribes and officials from Aleppo Governorate and the Kobani region by sheikhs and dignitaries of the attending tribes.

The speeches called on all Syrian tribes and communities to unite and stand against foreign conspiracies, emphasizing that the Syrian people, in all their diversity, are one people with one destiny, and that the land of Syria is large enough for everyone to build a better homeland. The speeches emphasized the importance of brotherhood and coexistence among the peoples, stressing the crucial role of the tribes at this stage in confronting the sedition aimed at dividing the region's communities.

The speakers noted that the gathering of the tribes today in the city of Kobani, which defeated ISIS, is of great significance, affirming that civil peace is not merely a slogan but a guarantee for a secure future for all Syrians, and that the diversity of Syria's communities and groups has historically been a source of strength and unity.
