Transitional Govt. halts fuel supplies allocated to bakeries, services in Hasakah

Sources familiar with the matter told ANHA agency that the transitional government has stopped supplying bakeries and some service sectors in Hasakah Governorate with their allocated fuel supplies, following the suspension of deliveries of quantities that had been sent to al-Jazira Company.

According to the sources, the quantities allocated to meet the needs of bakeries and service sectors have been halted, while the specific reasons behind the decision and the period for which it will remain in effect are not yet clear.

The sources added that the relevant authorities are working to issue a clarification regarding the decision, including the mechanism for supplying diesel fuel and the entity that will be responsible for securing it during the coming period.

The halt in supplies comes at a time when bakeries and a number of service sectors rely on diesel fuel to meet their operational needs, raising questions about the impact of the decision on the continuity of their operations in the coming period.
