The resistance continues against the Tishrin Dam, as residents of the Raqqa, Tabqa, and Deir ez-Zor cantons hold dabkeh dance sessions, expressing the will of the people.

The dam has witnessed an increase in the participation of residents of the cantons of North and East Syria for more than 100 days.

Protesters participate in popular dabkeh dances and chant slogans expressing their demands for freedom, justice, the guarantee of their legitimate rights, and the protection of public property.

In this regard, ANHA's agency met with residents participating in the dam protest.

Fayyad al-Salem, from the Andalusia farm in the western countryside of Raqqa canton, emphasized the importance of these protests in strengthening the spirit of solidarity and cooperation among the various components of society.

He added, "We are here to demonstrate that our voices will not be silenced, and that we will continue to demand our rights until they are achieved."

Muhammad Aliwi, from the city of al-Shaddadi in the Hasakah canton, said, "We have been continuing our resistance for more than 100 days, in support of the Syrian Democratic Forces and to stand against any aggressor who attempts to encroach upon the property of our people."

Al-Aliwi emphasized, "Neither the Turkish occupation nor its mercenaries will stand in our way, and our protests will continue until victory is achieved."

Yahya al-Hashash, from the Deir ez-Zor canton, said, "We rely on our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces, and we stand by them. Whoever wants peace, we are its advocates, and whoever wants war and steadfastness, we are the heroes of the battles."
